I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of funds at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 wager

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 bet

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager

Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first one hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
