I have bet on millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this technique! And a few days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you notice betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original five dollar bet

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
